Athens – Vytina – Tripoli – Stemnitsa


Depart by destination Tripoli. We will stop for coffee at the Isthmus of Corinth. Continue to the most famous mountain resort on the Mainalon, Vytina. Lunch and visit to Stemnitsa. Stemnitsa, also called Ipsos is 6 km from Dimitsana on the road to Tripoli, where we reach after another 45 km. It is a beautiful village at a height of 1015 m, on a slope of Mount Mainalon. Stemnitsa was the summer of 1821, the capital of liberated Greece. At the meeting of Kaltezoi elected headquarters of the First Peloponnesian Senate and in the summer of 1821 there convened the First Peloponnesian Senate. During the Byzantine period was manufacturing center bell and craftsmen were called to give voice to bell towers across the Peloponnese. Arrival in Tripoli. Settle in hotel, dinner and overnight.
Stemnitsa
Mystras

Tripoli – Sparta – Mystras – Gythio – Cave Diros – Kalamata


After breakfast departure to our destination Sparta. We will have a panoramic tour of the city and will continue for the unique Byzantine Mystras of the 14th and 15th century. The capital of the Byzantine, Turkish and Venetian Morea with dilapidated houses, unique churches and palaces. We continue to Gythion and Diros Caves. It is one of the most beautiful caves in the world, with rich decoration of colored stalactites and stalagmites. We will continue and after crossing Mani will end in beautiful Kalamata Settle in the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Kalamata – Methoni – Finikounda – Koroni – Pylos – Kalamata


After breakfast we depart for Koroni, a quiet port, crowned by an imposing Venetian and Turkish fort. Series has Finikounda, located at the southwestern tip of the Peloponnese, at Messinia, between Methoni and Koroni. The area is renowned for its excellent sandy beaches and clear waters of the seas. In the village you can taste fresh fish and traditional recipes of the place in the taverns which adjoin the sea. We continue to Methoni, a small town on a promontory on the edge of which there is a Venetian fortress. We will impress the excellent condition and size. We continue to Pylos.
Koroni
Pylos
Pylos is a picturesque town in the southwestern part of the Peloponnese. Built in 1828 by the expedition of General Maison. In the center of is the Three Admirals square with the homonymous monument that was completed in 1933. On both sides there are two cannons, one Venetian and one Turkish. Located in an excellent geographic location and its port is one of the largest and safest ports in the world. Returning to Kalamata will visit the pilgrimage to the Church of Our Lady and the Kalograion Monastery, which is silk industry center, where will see the Archiepiscopal Vespers. Arrival at our hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Kalamata – Agia Theodora – Megalopolis – Tripoli – Athens


After breakfast will depart to the Temple of Visitation where will attend the Divine Liturgy and we will continue to the village of Vasta where we will worship the holy shrine of Saint Theodora, the memory of which is celebrated on 11 September, the day of martyrdom. After passing by Megalopolis will continue to Tripoli, the capital of Arcadia, in the city center is the Areos square with the statue of Theodoros Kolokotronis. Panoramic tour of the city. Return to Athens with stops.
